Acrylic on canvas
40″x30″
This painting is on a gallery wrapped canvas with finished edges. It comes ready to hang.
Walking through the National Gallery in DC, I passed through the Early Renaissance painting room. I was struck by how all the paintings were painted in the same color scheme – red/orange, blue, gold, black, white, and grey of the period. “Early Renaissance in Ferrara” combines elements of several paintings in the room, albeit highly abstracted, and the window grid unites them.
