Weathered and Worn
A friend of mine showed me photographs from his new-found hobby, photography, from his trip to Pennsylvania. His photograph of a farm in rural Pennsylvania caught my eye. There was so much weathered and worn beauty in the bare wintry trees and barns that clearly have aged taking on the look and feel of the old trees behind it. The snow dotting the scene enhanced the coloring of the sepia earth, grey trees, and spots of red paint on the barns still trying to peek through.
